About Us

geneandjean

We are Gene and Jean Easley, a husband and wife ministry, dedicated to revival and missions. We began our ministry together in 1978 teaching in Midwestern Bible Institute in Denver and Greeley, Colorado. Since 1981, we have been involved in missionary work in the Central American country of Guatemala. We currently are semi-retired, but we are still involved with several works in Guatemala. We hope to convey our burden and vision for Guatemala through these pages.

Also, we hope to share with you our burden for revival in the churches here in America and around the world. So please take time to search our site, and may it be a blessing to you!

A Little History

Gene Easley

Bro. Easley received Christ at the age of nineteen, and three years later was called into the Gospel ministry. At that time he was in the Air Force, stationed in Tucson, Arizona.

Pastor L. G. Gilmore of the local church was very active in missionary work in Latin America. In the summer of 1966, Pastor Gilmore and his wife took a group of young people from their congregation (including Bro. Easley) on a two-week missions trip several hundred miles south of the Arizona border into Mexico. On seeing the great harvest field that lies just south of our borders, God was able to place a burden on Bro. Easley's heart that would remain through the years.

In 1981 an opportunity came to spend some time on the mission field in Guatemala. Since that first experience in missions, Bro. and Sis. Easley have been involved in missionary work in some capacity in that Central American country.

Jean Easley

Sis. Easley was saved at the age of thirty and immediately felt a call to the Lord's work. The Lord led her to an Assemblies of God church in north Denver, Colorado, where a Bible school was being pioneered the same summer and where she would meet her future husband.

Bro. and Sis. Easley married between their junior and senior years and launched their ministry upon their graduation together from Midwestern Bible Institute. After several years of teaching in the Bible institute, they answered the call to foreign missions in Guatemala. Sis. Easley is the singer in the family and has assisted in this capacity in their ministry throughout the U.S. and Guatemala.
